I love 30 carbines and would love to have another. What holds me back is 30 carbine ammo these days is higher than a cats back.
Yes, it is expensive. I have a pile of it but no 30 carbine pistols to shoot it through just the M1 Carbines.
What was on FB ? You miss out on buying it ?
Yes, it was a Ruger revolver. I would like to find a semi auto, I think.

A friend of mine (now passed) was special forces in Vietnam. He had an M2 conversion kit I always wanted (back when I had a M1).
He said I could have it (I'm sure it was/is illegal, as it wasn't registered), but I didn't care. He passed before I could get it...

He said it was still in the package...never opened. Probably got sold,...or tossed in trash, without anyone even knowing what it was.
