Anyone live near Lake Guntersville?

My son and his friend are leaving early tomorrow morning for a week of fishing / bowfishing there.
Not sure yet where they are staying but apparently they have rented a house for the week.

Just make me feel better knowing someone I "know" is close by just in case.

I know he is "grown" but I ain't real used to him being so far away.

I live 10 minutes from the lake on the upper end about 45 minutes to the town of Guntersville

30 minutes and I am on em! Depends on if he is up or down river. 30 minutes to one place--hour to the other end of lake. Tell him to put on the dang lights if he is out early or late and leave them on! If you need help Duckett (pro) has a nifty place right on the lake!

Has he ever been there before? Its a pretty dangerous lake Imo. Sticking to the channel is a must, its very narrow.

25 mins from south sauty and 25 from bb comer the grass is up and most anywhere north of south sauty shouldn't have any problem navigating because the grass covers most of the shallow stuff
