Anyone Not Practice From Elevated Position?

As I age it's harder to make stand shots with the same form as on the ground no matter how much I try and bend at the waste. Because my form changes instead of trying to force myself into it I just go with it. From a stand I shoot a little left and an inch to two high, just how it is so I sight in from there.

I always try to. I've shot from elevated decks at peoples homes, the roof of my house, hung treestands, but Tuesday night was a new first. I shot from this:

Did you go all the way to the top or the next level down? Man that looks like it would be awesome, especially if you had a haul line and someone at the bottom to pull your arrows and sent them back up to you.

I didn't shoot from the top, but the next level down. I shoot a longbow, so I had to shoot through the slats. Thought I might be asking for trouble shooting through the iron railing.

I do because i like to make it as "real" as possible but as long as a man is shooting arrows from where ever it makes for a good time. Can't wait for my son to get strong enough to shoot with me.
