Picked one up at Walmart - just because they were marked down to $75 and I couldn't resist. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I like two things they advertise about it -
#1. It folds up flat
#2. You can adjust the angle as you go up the tree

Anyone have any experience with one of these stands? What you think about it?

Haven't used one, always been a summit viper guy.

Good on ya though, that deal is awesome for a brand new climber. I don't know how you can lose even if you don't like it, you can easily resell it for what you've got in it.

I'm a Summit guy too. The ability to fold it flat and adjust the angle intrigued me. But, I've tried a lot of different stands...I always go back to the Summit. I figured, like you said, if I didn't like it, I could get my money back.

I have one and like it. It's heavier than most but easy to carry, very comfortable to sit it, and easy to climb with too. I'm 75 and no problem using it. Good luck.
