Hey all, new to Tennessee and have an armadillo question. You can hunt these year round with no bag limit. I guess my question is why? Does anyone hunt these and for what purpose? Wouldn't think you would want to eat one but like I said…. New down here. I see them pretty often from a deer stand- they seem pretty slow and dopey without a lot of value from a harvest standpoint. Just curious. Thanks.

I shoot every one I see and so do my neighbors. They make huge holes in the ground where it's easy for horses, cows, and people to easily break a leg in. Not to mention, they drive native animals out like possums and they root up and damage the ground.

Shoot every single one you see. They are nothing but invasive pests.
