Article About UT's Playoff Hopes

For whatever it's worth, I think the writer of that article has one thing wrong. Why would a TN fan root for LSU to lose Arkansas...or anyone else before SEC Championship game? That only hurts TN's resume. We want LSU to keep winning and then lose a close one to Georgia. That makes TN look good for whipping LSU, imo.

I guess they are saying that LSU beating Georgia would all but eliminate Tennessee. If Georgia loses the SEC Championship game I think it eliminates Tennessee anyway, no matter who it is.

Spur, I think there's still very much a path in part because in some of those in state rivalry-type games anything can happen.
1) The Vols arguably have the easiest remainder of the regular season with Mizzou, SC, and Vandy.
2) OSU and Michigan still have to play each other so that's a guaranteed 1 loss team for one of them.
3) TCUs got the horns this weekend at home.

The cold truth is you pray that ALABAMA wins out the rest of the season and beats Georgia. So now you have become a ALABAMA fan. You just can't admit it like I did this past weekend when I cheered for a Georgia win. Roll Tide !

The cold truth is you pray LSU loses their remaining 2 SEC games as that is the only way bama has a chance to go to Atlanta to play GA. I will admit I will cheer for Ol Miss and Auburn to beat bama.

Remember you cant spell Roll Tide without 2 L's
