We will all get a sneak preview of (according to badnole) a heisman trophy winning qb the Titans wasted the #2 pick on that will be working at espn in a couple years. Badnole will be gloating and laughing at everyone (including the football analysts) while he's shining his jameis winston statue when mariota trips over his shoelaces and gets picked off repeatedly because he was the ONLY one that saw it coming.
I hope badnole is wrong and mariota does well and the Titans improve.

For the first time in a couple years I'm excited to watch the Titans.
 
I hope they leave mariota on the field for a while. He seems to be getting a little more comfortable now. He seems to have good arm strength and has been accurate so far when he has had any protection.
 
Picks are going to happen, manning had several his first few years. You don't want to see them but you have to expect them right now. Even the second string is a lot faster than anything he has ever seen in game situation.

I actually think he can be a Good NFL QB,not great, but seeing that 1st Drive he is simply not ready to play. Need a Year , maybe 2 on the Bench to get adjusted to NFL style defenses. But with the way The Sports Media is they will demand he plays.

Just as I said,he is not NFL ready.Will he make his second contract. Who knows.

I actually think he can be a Good NFL QB,not great, but seeing that 1st Drive he is simply not ready to play. Need a Year , maybe 2 on the Bench to get adjusted to NFL style defenses. But with the way The Sports Media is they will demand he plays.

Just as I said,he is not NFL ready.Will he make his second contract. Who knows.

No mudbone,I won't be laughing and gloating at everyone,just 2 or 3. Annalise that first quarter the way you want ,but it wasn't good for the Titans .Jameis promised the statue later.

I want Mariota to be a great qb, but since when has practice ints been an official stat?

That is amazing badnole. The way you can be so sure about a player after watching him take his first few snaps in the nfl. especially when you didn't watch! :) he had no blocking and got sacked and fumbled, and threw a pic on a busted play. Settled down a bit and made some great throws I thought. But myself and everyone else obviously doesn't know football the way you do. How come you aren't an nfl scout? Or are you?
I'm looking forward to the future hall of famer winston showing us how a real rookie looks on his first few possessions.
 
You are pretty funny.I said he needs a couple of years on the bench to learn. Twist away. He did ok from the shotgun against Falcons 2 nd and 3rd team . Whoopie!!! Mettenberger should be the starter and proved it tonight. Where is Jake Locker? Titans are gonna need him.I watched the first Quarter not the second. I noticed he did throw a touchdown, only it was to the Falcon defense :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: . Oh and he had a fumble return also I believe. Didn't show this in camp. Guess I can tell about him the same way you always been able to tell about Winston. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

How long did Mettenberger play?
