Strawberries Dry rub, covered in aluminum foil with some butter.
Cooked on 250 for about 3hrs.

Smothered in sweet baby rays and added to the grill. Plan to flip and smother again. Leave long enough to darken the sauce into a crust.

Grilling is still in process but I think I know the end result. All I could do to get them on the grill without falling apart!
This gonna be good

Looking good, love my Weber performer, next time get some shag bark and throw on there a couple 3 times .

Thanks for sharIng and for details on the rub. I've been looking for something new to try.

As for the sauce, I use sweet baby rays original as well but cut it a little with apple cider vinegar. Adds a nice tang to it.

Sounds interesting. I really want to start making my own sauce, just haven't ventured that far yet lol
