No. There were 3 longbeards together. He made a call and they drifted off, but eventually came back.

During. He sent me video of them gobbling at thunder. He shouldn't have been out there.

Congratulations, what part of Mississippi you guys hunting?

I'm hunting pretty much dead center of the state. He's up north. Unfortunately he can't take anyone where he hunts. Landowner only lets him hunt. No guests.

Very nice bird, quite special to get one opening day!! He must have gone later in the day with the weather being poor early.

Nope. He was there at daylight hunting during the storms. Considering several tornados did damage across the state he shouldn't have been out there.
