We went down to Headwaters in Florida. We got there about 2:30 Wednesday afternoon and fished until sunset. We were in shorts, tshirts, and flip flops. The next day was pretty nice as well. The last two days it was in the 40's when we started with strong north winds. We fished Friday and Saturday bundled up to stay warm and fight the wind.
The code front hurt the fishing.
We had 6 guys on the trip. The biggest caught was 9lbs. There was also a 7.5. Nothing else that broke 6lbs.
I struggled. 3.16 was my biggest. My buddy in my boat had a couple between 4 and 5, and lost one that was probably 10.
We still caught quite a few fish. It was nothing like I had ever fished before, and I can't wait to go back next year. Hopefully we hit the weather better.
