I do disagree. I've watched a lot of football since the quarterback has been off limits to hits, and I've seen a lot of players stop/adjust their momentum to not get the flag. The problem wasn't the hit, imo, but the grabbing of the off arm and keeping it there and driving it into the ground the way he did. Watching the video at regular speed, I wouldn't have thrown a flag as it was a bang bang play. But he deliberately held the arm and drove it into the ground…that would have just been a football play 20 years ago, but is dirty now.
