Barrel Decals

Its the law in Mo. to put a "Be Safe" sticker on the receiver of your gun.
Not a bad idea.

"Since spring 1987, a safety sticker attached to the receiver of the gun has been required of all hunters, and an intensified effort to raise hunter awareness regarding safety has been in effect. The result has been a decrease in the number of non-fatal accidents to 4 during the 2000 spring turkey season."
 
No thanks on the barrel decals. Seems pretty cheesy to me, guess it makes folks feel tough :)

If I had to have one it would say F___ You.
 
I did a makeover on my old Winchester 1300 a year or so ago. I added the tactical stock and did a custom camo job on it. When I was done I put DEATH 3.0 on the barrel. It is chambered in 3".

Doesn't make me feel tough.... just makes my gun something special instead of being plain..... guess the wife feels the same way too!!!

To each his/her own...but I dont clean my burd-gun, much less the barrel enough to put a (censored) decal on it.

Whatever you think you got to do...do it!

The way I think is...every so-called decal I buy...cost me at least 3 beers...I love my beer.

I'll take my dirty,ugly,nasty,proven burd killing gun just the way it is...my thoughts.

Why? because that would probably be the last thing that critter would say before the big BOOM that came out of it.

I have to agree with Burd on this one. I don't clean my gun much (don't have to its and 870) and a decal would take away from all the character marks on it. That gun has been some places. The bottom of flooded green timber in Arkansas TWICE. The bottom of a pit and dragged through Duck River mud. A decal wouldn't hold up.
 
its just a sticker that can go on and off pretty easy, its not like its a tattoo!

I have 2 barrels for my gun so for the 28" i think i may go with NO FLY ZONE.

for my turkey barrel i may go with either RED DAWN, 1 shot 1 flop, Philippians 4:13, Psalms 42:1 or Genesis 27:3.


its all in fun and it aint permanent
