BASS College

Today was the first day of a BASS College Series on Cherokee. There were 263 boats. Almost 1000 fish at a weight over 2000lbs were caught. There were 146 limits. It took 1 hour and 5 minutes for all the boats to leave this morning.

Came by there today and never seen so many trucks parked there. Appeared to be a whole lot of "daddy's money" sitting out there going by all the new 4x4 trucks sitting out there.

There were all types of boats and at least 4 of the fishermen were wearing the orange type 2 PFD's at the takeoff. There were 120 schools represented and over 30 states. There were some fishermen from CA and at least 2 all women teams.
