Beards

I was thinking about this too. Multiple beard birds are not that uncommon in my area. However I have hunted areas where you almost never heard about or saw one killed.
 
Lookin back at this post and seeing my and fleet fox replies I think things are a bit different now. :D

The first turkey I ever called up and killed by myself was a 4 bearded jake. I was 12 at the time, my grandpa was so proud when I brought him by his house[emoji2]...that's the only multi beaded turkey I've ever killed.
 
7 beards is my best, although only 2 of them were nice, big, full, long beards. The others were pretty scrawny and less than impressive.
