I moved to a crossbow years ago but my new wife is expressed an interest in compounds. I used to shoot mathews but really don't want to make that kind of investment now.

I also, don't really want to have to replace it if she likes it and starts hunting.

Any suggestions on bows? She is 6ft and I am betting a 29" ish draw possibly a lefty (left eye dominant, right hand)

lots of good bows out there, depends on the money you're looking to spend. tons of options over $1k but the one that i like, which i'm going to buy for my son next year, is bear. they've got lots of models with adjustable poundage and draw lengths

I second the Mathews Jewel if you can find one in her draw length, or the Mathews Chill R or X. I took 2nd in the TN State championship with a Jewel back in 2012 that wasn't even set up for me. It was my wife's. I had a limb failure on the bow I was shooting just days before the tournament. They kidded me when I told them I wasn't going to be able to shoot...they said "just shoot your wife's bow". I took it over to the practice bales. Shot a few distances and decided to try it.
