Best bang for your buck!

I'm looking to add a couple more cameras to the arsenal. Would love to go the "cell" route, but I just can't pull the trigger yet. I think I'd be up all hours of the night waiting on the next pictures to come through on my phone! What's a couple of good non-cellular cameras that won't break the bank but yet gets the job done and reliable? Under $200 and middle of the road we'll say. If you are suggesting $200 a piece for the cams I believe your choice needs to be Browning. You can see BSK's threads about the new elite and see the quality of the photos/videos. They have incredible battery life and in my opinion are as good as it gets.

They also have a couple nice cellular cams at that price point. The wireless pro scout is very nice. I have a few of those and have been extremely satisfied with them. And the Ridgeline is the new cam they just released at that price point as well.

If I were you I would start my search with Browning and end it there. Just decide which model has the features and price you prefer.

Agree, except for the Tactacam Reveal.

I have both multiple Tactacam Reveals and the Browning cell cams.
My Browning cell cams have been much more RELIABLE as well as more "feature rich".

The additional upfront cost for the Browning cell cam is less than $100 vs. Tactacam.
But due to the much longer battery life, less expensive monthly cell plan (relative to the features),
I figure I'm actually paying LESS for the Browning cell cams than the Tactacams over a time horizon of less than 2 years.

Regardless of cell or non-cell,
don't just compare the up-front cost,
as it can be somewhat a gimmick "hook" to incentivize your purchase.
Also apply this thought to "where" you make your purchase,
as some sellers will come thru "cheaper" for reasons you may not like later.

Look at what features you receive for your money, the costs of operation over time, and guesses on longevity. Many brands/models will be guaranteed for 2 years from the point of purchase.

Not as much matters if you're only talking one or two cams,
but compare using a half-dozen cell cams of one brand vs. another,
trying your best to do an apples-to-apples comparison,
then amortize your anticipated total costs to use over say 24 months.

This one found it and still kept coming back. I've had no issues with these for a few years 8aa energizer last me over 6 months. I've got about a dozen of them so I try to get decent but inexpensive it adds up after batteries sd card cameras

Well I'm impressed. Two Stealth black flashes for $100? Good pics also. I know battery life means a lot but two for $100? I can find a place to put them.
