Best Cold weather boot.

Looking for a good quality warm boot. Seems like everyone only last a year or two.
Was curious if anyone has a good suggestion for a good cold weather boot? I personally prefer an ankle boot vs slip on etc. However, I'm not against it.

I wear lite boots for everything. Socks are the most important thing for keeping your feet cool or warm.

Lacrosse Grange for me early season. I have a pair of insulated Lacrosse boots I wear down to around 38-40 degrees. Any colder than that I wear an 800 gram thinsulate lace up leather boot with a merino wool sock liner and thick wool socks. That keeps my feet warm all the way down to 10-15 degrees or so.

I have a pair of 800 gram Rocky that I've had several years. The key is buy them too big and wear good socks.
