Benton's is HIGH priced. They jacked up prices during the shortages, and have "sales" where they jack up the prices even more but give you 10% off. Trick is they marked everything up 10-15% the night before the "sale".

They will never get another dime from me.

Exactly the same here.
Even before the crunch, they were higher than a cat's back, but during and since, they've just been ridiculous.
I won't darken their door again.

I agree with the above about Sportsman's Warehouse in Chatt... that's the first place I go.

Benton's is a fun store to browse, but they are HIGH. I have found a couple of good sales on guns around Christmas, but that's all.
