Good friend of mine played with Spurrier in high school. He was Spurrier's blocking back. Bobby said Spurrier could run pretty good back then in Johnson City,Tenn , but has always been arrogant.

Reggie White is most definately at the top of the "best" list but there are many that had good careers in the pros.

Yes, Spurrier might not have been born in Tn, but had been there since age 3. He first lived in Athens, then Newport, and finally Johnson City. Most associate him with Johnson City, and he still considers it his hometown. But...... Yes I'd say Reggie White was also truly the best out of Tn.

John Henderson (baby shaq) was a beast! I played aau ball with him and played against him in football and basketball since 4th grade. I've got a picture from the sixth grade of him hangin on the rim above me as I tried to take a charge. 6,7" 240 in 6th grade! Sorry for hijack.

I don't know but I wish I ate the same thing! We used to joke that he was 19. He always wore headphones before games and everyone joked he was listening to hooked on phonics. He was a good kid, and came from a good catholic family. His uncle pours concrete in the nashville area and I talk to him a few times a year. Good people
