Best mountain boot ?

I have Crispi, Oboz, Salewa and it's very close in terms of best comfort and ankle support between the Oboz Bridgers and Salewa. The Crispi is a heavy stiff boot I only wear when I have a heavy load coming out of the mountains and that's just so I don't make my calf muscles tired so quick. Mild weather goes to the Salewa and cold would go to Oboz Bridgers insulated

I have pretty weak ankles due to past injuries. Kenetrek Mountain Extremes are the best things I've ever worn. I hunt rough areas of Campbell County with no issues. Euro Optic has them on sale occasionally.
Same here. I bought the ones with 400 grams insulation but they have one with 1000 and another with none. They are stiff left to right which is what I wanted. Can buy a lot of boots for less money but these are taller and what I wanted for the ankle support. I also have a pair of Lowa Renegade Mid GTX boots that I wear during turkey season and when the wife and I hike. They're lighter and not as rigid as the Kennetreks but really like them too.

Crispi is probably the most well made boot I have ever owned but yes very stiff and heavy. Great for ascending. I have some Merrells for light duty. A big sheep hunter friend of mine highly recommends the Kennetreks. I have seen the Zamberlans on sale on camofire.
