I shoot a Mossberg 930 with a 1.5x Burris, and wife and kids shoot a Charles Daly 20ga auto loader with MilDot. Both are easy to carry and easy to shoot and easy on the wallet. With the advent of Heavy13 and Heavyweight shot, I would 100% buy a 20ga if it's purpose was a dedicated turkey gun.

I guess after thinking about this my favorite turkey gun was a New England firearms 12 ga 3 1/2 but I could not keep optics on it and it definitely had a kick. Lol
