Best Quotas

I've never put in for any turkey quotas. What are some of the more sought after or competitive spots?

I went ahead an put in for Yuchi. I don't know if it's a good one or not, but it's the closest one to me. Maybe we'll get a little more info soon.

I'll tell you this. LBL, as you probably know, is humongous. It can be difficult to roost birds there.

I didn't see that LBL was available.

LBL is a separate draw.
I think it will be February before their information is up on their web site. Info is futher down on the quota instructions.

There are not many quota hunts, so your pickings are slim. I would suggest applying for the ones that are early in season or even open before state wide does (assuming there are any).

I might apply for one this year myself, I always say that but never do because I usually go out of state and hunt other WMA's that my weekends are normally full.

Went to Oak Ridge once and it was a good hunt but that was 10 years or so ago. I deer hunted Yuchi one time but not turkeys in the spring.
