Best Short Bow for 08'

I also shoot a Mathews, but I would suggest you shoot every bow you possible can, then make your decision on which bow is best for you.

That being said, the Mathews MQ-32 is still my favorite bow ever.

I shot a PSE for years and years but I am sold on the DXT. It is the best bow I have shot.
The BowTech General is a very nice bow also with virtually no shock, I'd check it out also.

Shoot the bow and figure out which one works best for you. Of the shorter bows, I chose the Hoyt Katera. Second and I'd love to have this bow also is a Bowtech Allegiance. I wasn't impressed with Mathews 08 lineup. I've owned two Mathews, an MQ1 and a LX. The MQ1 was a sweet bow and why they haven't tried to replicate that again is beyond me. In addition, Mathews hasn't done much besides the slim limbs. Which that gets mixed reviews!

There are a lot of good bow mfg's.today.

I wanted a DXT,but I shot the Drenalin a little better,so I bought one.
Still like the DXT. Great hunting bow.

I like the Dren slimb limbs, and it is vibration free.
Not the fastest bow.
I only shoot 60# limbs.

LCU, Mathews speed from the 60# bows was another reason I chose to look elsewhere. I've got an 08 Katera, and when I've shot with groups, everybody comments on how fast and quiet the bow is. I've had people tell me they think it's faster than their Mathews @ 70lbs. It's definitely not the fastest bow out there, but it shoots pretty darn fast, and still has some forgiveness.

think browning mirage i been shooting one for years now and love it would only buy a newer one if i had the choice .axle to axle 29 3\4 inches perfect for blinds and tree stands. jmo
