Best Turkey Gun under $450

I agreed on the 835 in above post but shoot an 870 super mag now. I saw an 870 (don't think it was a Super mag) in Walmart today for $387. Believe the 835 they had was the same. Can't go wrong with either one.

Like you I don't own an 835, and my primary turkey gun is an 870 super mag. I think the 870's can be a little more finicky compared to most of the 835's I've been around. I don't like the mossbergs, but for an off the shelf turkey gun that's easy to pattern, 835 is it.

Hard to beat an 870. They are well built, simple, weapons that are not fuzzy about whether the ammo is high or low brass. You will let it down before it lets you down.
