better rest

I haven't had any problems with my trophey taker rest. Some Drop aways can cause clearance issues if not set up right.

Haven't tried the WB. I like the speed.

BTW Is the term "Ripcord" the same as a drop away or something different?

Radar are you a WB shooter?
For hunting , yes . I think it is the best hunting rest on the market . I have put several drop away rests on my bows ,but always seem to go back the WB for hunting .
I currently have a Trophy Taker Shaky Hunter , Cobra Double Diamond , and Muzzy Zero Effect , but have WB's and a NAP 360 mounted on my hunting bows .

Tests have been run on the WB showing very little loss of speed . Most hunters wouldn't notice the difference in a couple feet per second .

I do agree with the loss of speed factor. Next to nothing.
Also agree the QAD has more things that can go wrong with it.
If it acts up..it's no use.

So far mine has worked great. If it stops working,it's off and on with the WB.

I shot a 3D rover for years and liked it. On my new bow I put a NAP Quiktune 3000 and love it.

Oh i stand corrected I heard that you lost like 20fps with a WB. I heard that from one of those pro shops that was just recently mentioned in the general forum. Imagine that. It be a good comparison with some one who has a chron

Ripcord is the way to go! It holds the arrow just as secure as the biscuit but keeps the fletching and arrow from touching anything upon release.

Drop away all the way. Shot WB for a year and had some accuracy issues with it. As long as you check the drop away and keep it maintenced cant be beat. dead on with the drop away.

Assuming your QAD works the way it should, which mine has, it can't get any better than that IMO.
Think about it.

Think about it.
full containment
let down, rest stays up
when arrow is released it supports the shaft and drops clear before any fletching is contacted.
How can it get any better than that?

I respect the WB fans, and a lot love them.
No way I am bashing them.
I don't think a WB takes away enough speed to notice.
If my QAD breaks, Im going WB.

But if it works like it has a QAD has it all.

I DID THE COMPARISON
NOT ON THE SAME BOW BUT SAME TYPE AND BRAND, THEY HAD SAME POUNDAGE, AND I SHOT THE SAME ARROW
