Big body- small rack?

Is it just me or do his antlers look small compared to his body? I thought he looked 3.5 or 4.5

Looks like a 3.5 year old to me. Not that uncommon around here to see similar bucks.

Let him go another year and he might surprise you with what he turns into. I've seen several bucks make a tremendous jump in antler size from 3.5 - 4.5

Agree completely. I think hunters seriously overestimate what a 3 1/2 year-old buck in TN should look like antler-wise. After reviewing literally millions of trail-camera pictures from TN, I've found the average 3 1/2 year-old buck grosses only 105. And the range of possible scores exceeds 100 gross inches top-end to bottom-end. And this is normal, not a sign of something wrong with the buck.
