My son's first deer had a lot of it.
Ever since then he won't eat Ramen Noodles.

It's called the Peritoneum. All mammals have it. Even us!
Actually, it's called omentum. A very vascular fatty sheath. It's purpose is the bodies first line of defense in case of bowel injury. It'll wrap the area and help seal damaged area and promote healing.

the peritoneum is a Saran wrap like thin layer that coats the entire abdominal cavity. It even coats the testes as it gets pushed out when the testicles descend into the scrotum through the inguinal ring.

Not trying to be a smart ass but all those anatomy lectures come in handy.

I need to quit posting after a day of looking at 10,000 trail-cam photos. My brain is mush at that point.
