Last two tournaments we've weighed in two good bags. Had 23.75 for 3rd with a 6.43 big fish and last weekend had 25.40 for 1st with a 6.14 big fish. Hard to beat the TN river this time of year.

I live 2.5 hours from Pickwick and my place at Sardis is 2.5 hours from Pickwick, so I don't fish it like I should. Plus, I'm a shallow water bass fisherman, so I've never caught many smallies, but I'm definitely jealous!

my favorite way to catch them (other than flyfishing) is with frog pattern Tiny Torpedoes in rivers around here. waist deep or shallower... no need to dredge the depths, although that is a good way to catch them.
