Hince why me and a lot of people trap. Im sure Planking will agree with the saying traps work 24/7 and you have to check them day or night in a 24-36 hour time range and you have to dispatch .

I shoot a browning buckmark 22 just because of having to tote shells with a revolver. I carry 2 clips

I do have an electronic call. Not sure I've ever put batteries in it. A friend borrowed an expensive hinge release from me and left a brand new box with the call in it and I called him about my release like 8 mos later and he'd moved out of state. So I guess he has a release and I have a call.

Use a .17 or .22 mag when centerfire is not allowed. You won't get those 250 yard shots, but they are good at half that. If you can get them to pause or sit still for a second or two, head shots are very possible at that range.

Get batteries, 12 gauge buck shot, and ser up down wind. Hit play, click off safety , and get ready!!!! If you have that many on camera you won't have a fawn left by july

Not sure what's all of the sudden made my property so inviting. I do have around 65 doe on my property so maybe they see it as a good food source. I imagine when fawns are dropping they'll really come out in numbers.

Your place sounds just like what is happening at mine. Lots of adult coyotes, a few bobcats showing up and the turkeys vanishing.

I caught the biggest coyote ive ever seen a few days ago and dang if there wasn't another big one on camera last night. I set some traps today so hopefully i can have number 5 before the weekend is out.

Tn now has a nighttime predator hunt look up the regs and dates, shotgun only.

• Private land only, requires landowner permission (written, text, or email).

• One bobcat per night, no limit on coyotes.

• Hunting with dogs is prohibited.

• 2024 Season Dates: Aug. 1–Aug. 11

• 2025 Season dates: Jan. 18–March 9. and June 7–August 10.

• Shotgun only, no single projectile.

• Night vision and thermal imaging devices allowed.
