Hey Guys,
This is the biggest buck I have caught on camera ever. I am quite happy but it looks like i'll have to wait until next season to get a shot at taking him. Hopefully I will be able to pattern him in the off season. Any help aging and scoring him would be very helpful.

Thanks

Just from these two pics, really hard for me to say.
Certainly appears to be 3 1/2 or older.

When is the rut peak for the area where you photographed him?

After paying a little more note to that neck (partially hidden by a tree) in the first pic, chest depth, I believe he's at least 4 1/2. More pics would be helpful.

While he does look "fat" and well-fed, I don't notice that much belly "sag", and his back looks pretty straight.

Hey thanks for the reply. These photos were taken on my lease down in Alabama where the rut is generally in late December or early January. The timestamp is correct so I believe this buck to be rutting.

Sometimes the angle of a single pic or two, the exact second that captures his pose, etc. can be misleading. Several pics can help rule out a misleading pic or two. His neck might not appear so large if viewed from other side-view pics without a tree in the way. Would love to see a complete "side" view from a different pic (which you may have next time you check that cam).

The top pic kinda makes him look older than 4 1/2, but for now I believe 4 1/2 remains my best guess. Good chance he's older.
