Biggest Mistakes I see or hear of

Personally, I like catmans stuff, it's so amazingly pure and just magnificent the way he does his hunts on film. Can't wait to see what he brings us this year.

Cat's videos are great. Even Dave gives kudos to those who self-film their hunts, because he gets frustrated when he has to try to do it solo. However, Cat's would be better if he could shoot better (sorry Cat, had to) :D ! He cracked me up last year when he said he had to be the worst shot in Tennessee.

My only reason to bring Dave's videos up is to point out that that there is more than one way have fantastic hunts in our sport, and for those who may be looking for tips in this thread, pick and choose which might help you but don't think you have to completely fit the mold.

I'm so glad that I'm self-taught and determined my own style without much outside influence. That's one of the seasons why I don't post my videos for public consumption. While most would enjoy them, it's not worth having to be critiqued on my style because I owl hooted, or crow called, or called to him in a tree, or continued to call after he had answered, or cackled, or blah, blah, blah even though there's a dead turkey at then end!

Lol, I was out there this afternoon for 3h listening for gobbles! Heard none, but one of my 10 trail cams had a pic of 2 gobblers fighting with necks wrapped like snakes.

That was on 3/2. Haven't seen any since then. Gonna listen in the am and try to find one for the kids Friday
