Who is a decent boat insurance company? My company doesn't insure boats and referred me to Progressivr.

Ski Safe does a lot of pleasure boats and my Farm Bureau guy told me he couldn't touch it.

farm bureau only charged me 30.00 a yr for a 25k dollar boat.

I've been with BOATUS for years. They use GEICO as their vendor. I've had three claims in the last 15 years, and all were executed with no problems whatsoever.

Mine is progressive. Cheapest best coverage I could find.

I've had Farm Bureau ever since I picked up a 1999 185 ProTeam TF. No other insurance here in Greene County could beat Farm Bureau. My premium covering boat, motor, and trailer is only $121 per year. That also includes on-water towing should it become necessary.

For whatever reason, they now sub out boat insurance to Progressive.

Not happy about insuring through such a liberal company, but USAA makes me use them to keep my umbrella policy.

Rates are reasonable, $130 for $13,000 est replacement value.

Mine is 72.00 a year through SF...for a 10k boat.

Just got my grandfathers old boat he left me insured. We have a local insurance agency we use and it ended up being progressive. Think it was maybe $90 (maybe $115 hell I can't remember) for the year but the value of this boat isn't super high, I think $7500 boat, motor & trailer altogether

I always used progressive because it was competitively priced and included on the water towing service in case of a breakdown.

My policy through Tennessee Farm Bureau also covers on water towing, but I forgot to mention that in my post up above (since corrected).

Mine was kind of the same situation with Liberty mutual… They have been easy to deal with in spite of the name…
