Sometimes when she goes to a store or out of town a new one migrates in and I act just as surprised as her when she gets home.

Then like a day later when she was in the middle of a rant about something else, without pause pointed over her shoulder at the new mounts in the living room and said "What's this!!! This is too much! It's gotta go!"
and I never moved em. They are still up in the living room! I always joke that gaston off beauty and the beast is my favorite character because hes the best hunter and uses antlers in all of his decorations!
I remember each buck and the adventures along the way. They are trophies to me, but I can't expect anyone else to ever care about any of them the way I do. I've got a lot of them too.
It's a good problem to have but I might need to buy a bigger house soon to accommodate my growing antler collection!
I heard that, my house is pretty small. I have 8 in our livingroom. My 5 year old little girl this year started saying Daddy, I want you to kill a big deer for me so I can put it in my room. My wife just buried her head and started laughing like she needed to go to an asylum.
So guess what I did, I arrowed a big 8 on Tuesday, alot like that deer, 24" outside spread that's going in my daughters room. Lol poor mommy.
Even my taxidermist gives her grief, last one we picked up he said "I specifically altered this mount to go in the bedroom." She lost it and went all yankee on us, she's from Pa.
