They were interviewing Kyle Busch on trackside a few minutes ago, talking about how great his performance has been so far.Kyle made the statement "At least everyone's talking about my performance instead of my popularity",an obvious dig at JR.Those guys changed the subject so fast, the crowd missed the dig.Drivers callin other drivers out is good for the sport's entertainment value.Maybe they were afraid of a riot.

I got the quote a little wrong. What he said was "at least it's my work being admired instead of my popularity being admired".

He may be a punk, but he's a heck of a driver.I like him. He's not near as cocky as I was at 22,and I wasn't a famous racecar driver with women falling all over me..He earned my respect last year at Vegas when he spun and finished 2nd rather than wreck Jeff Burton. But,Kyle,if it happens at Daytona or Bristol, hit him!:)Kyle's smart enough to not call out Gordon or Johnson just yet.But I think he will once he's proven he's better than them, like he's proved he's better than Dale Jr.

Unless Kyle can win more races and championships than Johnson or Gordon, he won't be considered a better driver by any means .
He is a talented driver , but impatient and not very smart on the track .

I think he is with a team "finally" that the wins and championship will follow. May not get to gordo's number, but I suppose we all know races are much ahrder to win now, than just a few years ago.
