Deboer likes him. I wonder if they keep Nick Sheridan? I wasn't real impressed with Sheridan but I also think he was handicapped with Milroe.

They were good together. But do yal have a qb. I think alabama fans will be awful pissed off with ty Simpson.

Im not as concerned as much at the QB situation as some ALABAMA and NON ALABAMA fans might be. Looking more at the front line situation. You get a good front line and some good coaching that can get some protection for the QB and you have something.

I think they'll be in a good spot with Ty if he wins the job. I think he's going to be better than people think.
It's my understanding that Ty has to win the spot and there are 3 in the running. Hope he gets a shot at it for sure.

Austin Mack could be seriously be in the mix. He was at Washington with Grubb in 2023. I am sure they will evaluate and make them fight for the spot. If I was Ty I would be majorly working out and fighting for that spot.
Time will tell if it's a good move but because something worked in the Pac 10 or 12 doesn't mean it will cross over to working on the defenses of the SEC. On average they're much better than what's seen on the west coast.
Gotta try something when you lose to Candy and Roll Sooners among other higher quality teams.
You also thought Mildew was going to win the Heisman.
That is some serious insider knowledge right there. Your average fan might think they were going to draw straws or flip coins. Maybe play jacks or Chinese checkers to see who gets the starting spot. Thankfully TNDeer has a contact inside the program bringing the info only the inner circle would know.
More insider brilliance! I hope you communicated this to Ty. Otherwise he is probably spending the off season playing video games, eating Cheetos, and partying every night.
