I am looking for some new hunting boots and wanted some suggestions. I am looking for light weight waterproof muck style boots. Thanks

Ok here is my story about today.

I went boot shopping today. I needed them bad. I had the same pair of hunting boots way to long and they were killing my feet.
Anyways. I try to buy my hunting stuff at stores that support our local chapter but none of them had the boots I wanted to try and i tried on many.
I put my foot in LaCrosses at Working Man Boots in Dickson. They were high but anyways I liked them and how they felt and I even sat down in the floor like I would rushing to get a set up on a close bird. I also put another pair on my other foot to feel the difference.
Lacrosses had a thick soul I guess you call it that. the other pair 50 bucks cheap did not and I could have felt ever rock I stepped on with them which my feet would still hurt like heck.

Lacrosses for me.

Holler at gatornbuck for the mucks.

I made a funny. :D

yep hes got mucks. and vols fans get 10% off
Even then he's still too high. :D j/k gator as I have no idea what they cost through you. I bought a set of Woody Max about 2 years ago in Dayton, TN for just under $100 out the door.

Anyway, for turkeys I used to use Rocky snake boots but they're just not as comfortable and started leaking some so I bought a pair of Lacrosse Alpha Burly Sports and love them.

I love lacrosse boots, you can walk miles and no blisters !
I have two pair, one being the la grange regular green which I wear doing anything in, hunting or just playin in the mud. Then I have a pair of Lacrosse alpha burly that I got for Christmas from my parents which are 1000 gram thinsulate for cold weather and waterproof .
I have snake boots also(not lacrosse) that I wear when the snakes are out. Snake boots make you feel more secure but dang they are freakin hot, and uncomfortable or atleast mine are.

I am 1000% a muck fan..HOWEVER during turkey season they tend to take a beating and i was having to replace them every other year.

I got a pair of lacrosse Grange (mainly for the price) and they are sweet for turkey hunting. Briar's are no match for those boots.

I have a $20 pair of Game Winner boots from academy... cheap and they soaked through quickly when I went scouting one morning, despite the "waterproof" label. I will just have to deal with them being wet, it probably won't bother me if I am really into the turkeys and not thinking about my feet being wet.

Oh and I gotta keep an eye out for rattlesnakes. Those chaps are more expensive than my shoes were. I need the money for gas.... I will definitely have to watch my step till I can get a pair of snake chaps.

Im trying irish setter snake boot made by redwing this year. I was very pleased during juv. hunt this past weekend. I wish rocky still made boots like they did 12years ago.

I have a couple of pairs of Lacrosse myself, the Grange and Alpha Burly uninsulated and they serve well in wet weather.
