Part of my standard answer is " I'll agree to a hunting ban if you'll agree to a farming and home building ban" cause modern farming and home building destroys habitat and thereby destroying animals that once lived there, it also creates monoculture landscapes that are practically sterile also harming animals.
But the anti askes "where will I get my food?" My answer is "where will I get mine?"
