I am just trying to see who I am "related" to on here, lol. So who are the diehard BowTech folks here, other than myself? 2013 Experience, absolutely love this bow, no complaints so far. 2004 Patriot VFT, I took this bow in on a trade and I am really impressed with it, quiet and very forgiving smooth shooting bow.
Your turn , what ya got?

BowTech Stalker Lite 2004. Shoots great, not super fast but fast enough. More importantly I shoot it well. For the past several years I've thought about upgrading but then ask myself "why". I never end up justifying it to myself. But, yeah, I'm a fan.

2009 Admiral and 2012 Insanity CPX in the stable now. Mighty Mite, Extreme VFT and a 2011 Specialist all passed through over the years. Every one of them good bows!

They DID purchase Excalibur Crossbows and they were owned by Savage Arms, now they are owned by Northwest Equity Partners. NEP is a diversified investment group that has no other direct connections to any more outdoor related companies (Excalibur is part of Bowtech now).

2012 invasion is my latest bowtech purchase for myself. Had an 08 bowtech guardian before that. The wife shoots the 2013 bowtech heartbreaker. We love bowtech!!!

Who was Bowtech just sold to?

Didn't know they were sold to anyone. I did here from a reliable source that they bought out Excalibur crossbows.

I had heard that a bow manufacturer sold out to Cabelas or Bass Pro and I was thinking it was Bowtech. I may have been mistaken.

I cant see BowTech ever selling out to a chain.

They Make a bow (several actually) for the BP house brand. But so does other manufacturers.

Hoss is right, I wasn't thinking along those lines. I know for certain Diamond is one and if I am not mistaken RedHead is also in the mix.

BowTech makes some really great bows. Their customer service is what hurt them in this area; they burned a lot of bridges with their dealer network. The CPXL was one of the better bows I've owned. I would like to shoot an Experience but there just ain't a lot of local dealers in this area for them.

On the target side of archery, they don't help shooters and for that reason you wont see any Pros shooting for them. They for sure are geared towards the hunting side of things.

Bowtech diamond core :)

..I'm a little human, so I opted for a junior but dialed it up to over 50. Granted, it's maxed out.

Bowtech Carbon Knight fan here? Love the Experience as well as the RPM as well, it was a tough choice when I bought it. My decision was not a easy one. It came down to what my needs wants and desires were and the way the bow performed in my hands.

In the end the carbon Knight shot the best and it met my lightest bow of the bunch needs.

I handled a RPM 360 last weekend at Mahoneys. Pretty nice bow. I'd like to shoot it against an Experience before I buy a new bow though.

My favorite Bowtech so far is the RPM! For a speed bow it's hard to beat all around shootability. As far as Bowtech goes on a tournament level they've never been into a whole lot of tournament people considering they base there products on a hunters stand point. They are more concerned about satisfying the normal everyday hunter vs trying to cater to tournament shooter.
