I have one of his. My grandfather was born in Bolivar and moved back a few years ago. Did county ag in that area for a long time. Its a nice call. I'll be toting it on dry days this season.

I cherish the call and it will be an heirloom I hand down to one of my sons one day!

The call is AWESOME, sounds like NO other you've ever heard, the birds LOVE it and I wouldn't take a farm in GA for it!!! ;)

Being in the same profession forever as Robert Clifft, I had occasion to stop in his office in Bolivar years ago. This was back in the days when turkeys were just being established in West Tennessee,at places other than Shelby Forest. As you might imagine, when the subject of turkeys and calling came up, insurance conversations were put on the back burner.

I don't carry a bunch of calls with me. I normally use an HS Strut Cuttin' 2.5 mouth call and an aluminum pot call I got last year. Can't even think of the name now but it will pierce your ears. Mostly use the mouth call though. I do have a Woodhaven (wasp mayebe?) that I also carry to change it up a bit.
