I am very frustrated with my broadhead tuning at the moment. I have been shooting the same setup for years with no problem until last year. I for several years I have shot both nitrons and crossfires and they would both always have the same point of impact as field tips. Last year, the crossfires were hitting a bit differently than the nitrons and field points. So I wanted to get it all straightened out before this season starts.

My field points group very well, as do the broadheads. As I adjusted the rest to bring them together, I got to where the field points are just a few inches to the left of the crossfires. But if I adjust the rest, it does not bring the groups closer together. The nitrons are now grouping in line with the field points, but slightly higher. I have to admit this is a bit frustrating. I would like to get the bow properly tuned.

I am shooting a 30" legacy, 70# draw, 100 grain points on carbon exrpress arrows. Thanks for any insight.

Thats a tough one without actually having the bow in hand.

The broadheads may not be tuned themselves... causing eratic flught patterns. The bow could be out of tune also causing bad flight.
Make sure everything is set properly. Check the time, center shot, etc
Have you paper tuned to start, then walk back tuned the bow?
I would get it close with paper then tune it by walk back.

May want to take it in and let someone check it out for you????

Sounds like your close.

With a 30" arrow, I would make sure your not under spined first.
If your all in line but the elevation is off i would play with the nocking point. Just make a note of where you start with your adjustments that way you can always have a good starting point.
