Broken tines

Man, I hate it when a really good buck shows up with a broken tine. The below 8-pointer would have been a real dandy if he hadn't broken off his right G3. His left G2 looks like 11 or 12 inches long.

Yeah thats tough. But he still looks like a young buck. He should be even better next season

Same boat here. This is a 5.5 yr old we passed last yr. We call him the Spider 10 simce his long times look like spider legs. This pic was taken on sept 10 and he had already broke a main beam. Oh well, see u next yr buddy

I killed a twelve pt last year that broke off his right g2. It was about ten inches long. He somehow broke it right before he lost his velvet. It ended up only 4 inches. It was heartbreaking because it stuck out 3 inches wider than any part of his rack.

Not too early for a fight. Even some aggressive sparring could do it.
