I have a couple of Browning (Belgiums) that were given to me by my dad. I'm just curious what year they are from. I didn't have any luck trying to figure it out from the Browning website.

One is a Light 12 with a gold trigger. The serial # has 4G printed above a 5 digit number that begins with 43. Is this a 1964?

The second one is a standard 12without a gold trigger. The serial # has 0M printed above a 5 digit number that starts with 87. Is this a 1960?

You are correct!

4G - "4" = 1964, "G" = Lightweight
0M - "0" = 1960, "M" = Standard Weight
