Here is another buck that fooled us...... younger and smaller than the summer (August) photo.

The cool thing is I took BSK's trail camera advice. Yesterday, I got to watch videos of both these bucks up close.

At least 4 1/2. Maybe 5+

I don't use antlers to age bucks. Doing that will produce a ton of mistakes, and some really big mistakes.

It is so much easier to identify age and antler configuration from HD video than from even the highest resolution still images.

For those who guessed 4.5 yr old.... You were right.

I used my old QDMA jawbone aging tool on him tonight!

Had to hoist him up using a tree limb to get him into the truck.
