Well as I was loading the trailer Thursday evening, I was stretching a bunjee strap over to fasten something down and out of my sweaty hands slipped the bunjee. You guessed it. Sum beach popped me in my left eye.(not my aiming eye) A trip to the ER showed no major damamge, but a trip to the eye doctor got me a day off work and a NO GO on hunting this weekend. I'm blessed and I thank God that no more damage was done to my eye. I will make a full recovery, but the lesson I learned will last for ever.

Boys, be smart watch what your doing. It only takes one goof and you hurt. I wish you all the best. Knock one or two down for me this weekend. I will join you next weekend.

Dang man sorry about your luck.. That had to hurt like a mother!!

We will do our best this weekend! It looks to be a rainy weekend so maybe you didn't miss out on much.

I used to work with a guy who lost his eye doing the same thing with one of those older black rubber bungees with s hook.

gosh I hate to hear it, the same thing happened to me and that is when I switched to using rope ratchets now. They are a little noisy but they don't hit back!

If you look close at the straps it says "Wear Safety Glasses" Don't know anybody who carries a pair and puts them on when using bungee straps though.

The straps should say, "Place in trash can before use"
