I know most of you guys don't like seeing hogs on your property. The thing is I have a property that used to be mostly hogs which I enjoyed taking family and friends to hunt. The landowner gave permission for trapping and their went my hogs. I still go up there a lot just because he and I have become good friends.

I bought new trail cameras. My old one were becoming unreliable or didn't work at all. I didn't need a camera to see what had invaded. The hogs plowed up his field a couple days before it snowed. The hog trap is still there, so I'm going to put corn in it and see if I can trap a couple for meat.

I have feeders up there, but turned them off during deer season.

I put bait in the trap yesterday. I was going to set it, but the I couldn't find the trigger mechanism. I'm going to go back up and rig one. Probably some sort of ramp or trip wire to pull the door pin. The government just tied the door to a tree. When enough of them bumped against the wire, it fell and captured them all.

Right now I just want some meat. Don't feel like sitting in the cold for hours. :)

Ok according to PickettSFHunter the permits have expired, how will that affect your chances of getting a ticket? I have not seen him post about renewals on his property's
