Bushhog

You don't need to disk it deep at all. Just scratch the surface of the ground as clover needs only about 1/8" seed depth. Most will germinate if you do nothing except broadcast the seed in the fall. Dead grass matter will cover the seed enough to get it to germinate if broadcasted in October. So I wouldn't be too worried about finding a disc.

Like I said it was on the verge of needing a forestry mulcher. Plenty of other thickets on the property. It'll be put on a buahhog rotation once every year or 2. I definitely don't want it to get as thick as it was

I've got some on my place that are past the bush hog phase, I'm gonna go in and girdle some of the trees to kill them to keep the thickets thick. I got a bunch of korean honeysuckle I gotta kill too. That yugo takes over and shades out everything.

I only own 32 acres. But its one of the most therapeutic things to do. I love working on my own land. When I first bought mine. I wanted about 5-6 apple trees. Now I'm at 18 apple, 4 pear, 2 peach, 22 chestnuts and 15-20 sawtooth oaks. I lost all control. Planting them and watching them grow is a addiction. Lol. I have some that will be 5 year old trees this summer and I sure hope to have a few apples and chestnuts this year.
