The CVA .410 is a great gun
I looked at a Stevens 301 today. There may be different models but the one I looked at was very small. Didn't appear to be much bigger than a savage rascal. I would rather have something bigger so I'm still on the hunt.
I'm with you on this one.Get a Henry. It'll speak for itself once in your hands. Threaded for chokes, outstanding quality and craftsmanship. I've got a 20 gauge and a 243Win. Both are great shooting guns.

100% agree.I'm with you on this one.
I feel these are often overlooked. They are a viable option to any level of hunter.
Just my humble opinion.
I've got a different model of CVA, it's not the scout, but they make very good guns. I could be mistaken, but all of the new CVAs use Bergara barrels too.SCOUT V2 .410 BLUE/CAMO - BPI Outdoors, Inc

Barrels will not have the same stamping as the Bergara barrel but yes they are made in the same factory.I've got a different model of CVA, it's not the scout, but they make very good guns. I could be mistaken, but all of the new CVAs use Bergara barrels too.
