Top 5 SEC West teams gave up 2,507 yards, 198 pts & went 0-5 in last 2 days. Just saying.....

I guess it is showing that the SEC is not as good this year.Tried to point this out even about Alabama not being as good but Gator and and a few others thought I was crazy!!

I try not to wallow in the misery of others, but in the case of SEC football you just have to make an exception. All over SEC nation the conference homers are in shock and wondering how this could have happened. Meanwhile, outside of SEC nation there is great rejoicing. It's like when Luke Skywalker made the shot that took out the Death Star.

No, but they launched the attack on the SEC West and won the first battle this week!

I had a premonition in the treestand at last light on Tuesday and predicted the destruction.

Move over Nostradamus!

If any conference wants to call the SEC weak all you got to say is, over the last decade the SEC has been the most dominate conference out there. One year doesn't say that the SEC is weak or is going down hill.

Hunt just about everything

Overselling a bit, aren't you? I know not one single SEC fan that is concerned. One bad bowl season doesn't erase decades of dominance.

Another point the west played harder teams than the east did.

If we use the logic you did earlier in the season LSU won and Notre Lame lost due to not crediting LSU with a touchdown when it clearly was. :stir:

"Decades of dominance"? Give me a break. A decade is a span of 10 years. SEC. can claim the BCS era but that's it for dominance. Miami, OSU, USC, Texas in early-mid 2000s. Miami, FSU, Nebraska in the 1990s (and AL 1992, Auburn 1993, UT 1998). Notre Dame, Oklahoma etc etc etc. Alabama sucked between 1992 and Saba 's arrival. Same for LSU. Until this year when have Ole Miss and Mississippi State ever been any good?

Without a doubt, the SEC has been the dominant FOOTBALL conference over the past 8 years or so but I think the SEC banning over-signing is catching up faster than I originally predicted it would. The key is recruiting and the best high school talent is undoubtedly in FL, the SE, TX and CA. With Urban's arrival my Buckeyes have 21 players from the SE (8 from GA and 7 from FL). Plus some more from TX (JT Barrett). Almost all are freshman and sophomores. This is Michigan's major problem and something that will take Harbaugh several years to rectify if ever.

Urban's got 10 days to game plan and I like our chances against Oregon.
