Cameras 6 foot high

What is the cheapest bracket to hang these up higher with and be able to tilt them down?

One of mine I have the primos 20/20 mounting system. But I only have it because I bought it dirt cheap on clearance. The rest of them I just put a stick behind them to adjust the angle. I am going to cut some wedges out of 2x4 to carry with me to use for angling my cameras.

There are several products available today, but many of them cost more than they are worth. I got most of mine for $12 each on clearance sale at Gander and they have worked great, but the product was discontinued. Many of these mounting systems require your camera to have a threaded insert in the back or the bottom of the camera housing. Some camera manufacturers, like Wildgame Innovations, have been slow to figure out the need for a threaded insert in the camera housing. I use mounting systems that strap to the tree rather than ones that screw into the tree because some of my cameras are on public land.

This is a very solid mounting system that is on sale for a great price. It is much more expensive elsewhere. I picked up a few last week for some new cameras and I like them -

Moultrie Deluxe Game Camera Tree Mount

I have not tried this system, but it looks like it would be good if your camera isn't too big and heavy -

HME Strap On Trail Camera Holder

Here is the screw in version of the same system -

HME Tree Mount Trail Camera Holder

This company has some good mounting systems, but they cost a bit more. I bought a couple of their Plate Mount Strap-It systems with the Strong Arm System to hold some of my Wildgame Innovations cameras that don't have threaded inserts.

StakeOut Scounting Camera Mounting System \

New mounting systems are showing up a lot lately with the explosion in the popularity of trail cameras. Here's a new system -

Hunt'n Buddy Products

This site has some interesting trail camera security and mounting solutions, but they are more than I'm willing to spend.

I've got an old satellite dish that was left on my house when I bought it. It has a bracket that the dish mounts to that tilts up and down and side to side. I am going to make a mounting bracket for my trail cams out of it. It it works well and is easy enough to make - I maybe hitting folks up for old direct dishes!!!!
