A friend of mine use to buy gray long sleeve work shirts and pants then use a black magic marker to make his own treebark camo clothes.
My favorite hunting outer shirt is a black and orange plaid berber fleece lined flannel, ive probably killed a 100 deer in that shirtYep
Deer dont care
Was wondering if anyone would mention ASAT....when it first came out I was skeptical...but after seeing it in the woods I was amazed...doesnt wash out and blends in well any time of the year.ASAT is still the all-around best IMO,
Better yet, take a picture and then use a photo editor to remove (or at least seriously tone down) the reds. THAT is how a deer sees. And you can tun up the shortest wavelengths, such as the blue/violent end of the spectrum.Try taking a picture of camo you like. Turn the picture to a black and white picture. It is very revealing about what a deer sees. You would be surprised at what you think blends in can stick out like a sore thumb. Good luck.
I really like it. From ground level looking into the trees, it does a great job of breaking up outline. Was wondering if anyone would mention ASAT....when it first came out I was skeptical...but after seeing it in the woods I was amazed...doesnt wash out and blends in well any time of the year.
